Clyde Yachts Training Centre
Scotland's Premier in Sail Training

Clyde Yachts, (Previously known as Clyde & West Coast Cruising) is recognised as a training centre and has been since 2003.

For us, providing training must be combined with 1st class yachts which are not only Coastguard agency compliant, but must always represent quality and cleanliness which has always been upwards in our minds.
Every student is important to us. To us you are not just a number. Once qualified, in our minds you represent what we teach. Your skill and conduct on the water reflect our dedication to getting it right for each individual.

International Certificate Of Competence Course/Exam
This course is run in conjunction with our training partners @Scotsail'.
The ICC (or to give it its full title International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft) is a certificate which is intended to provide evidence of competence when requested by officials in foreign countries. It is sometimes known as the International Certificate of Competence.

The ICC is accepted in many countries as the minimum standard to skipper a yacht. (Please check with the country you intend to visit!)

It has some similarities with the RYA Day Skipper level but in our opinion falls short of Day Skipper on many levels.

This is an exam only and is conducted on a performance criteria basis.
